The swallows are back, having made the long flight from South Africa, they are back to our barns and stables, same nests, how do they do that?? Each year they know exactly where to come!!!! Amazing.
Also heard the cuckoo for the first time a couple of days ago. I love this time of year, with all the flowers starting to shoot up, the trees blossoming & the early morning dawn chorus, summer is truly on her way.

There is a page on facebook, called Bear Making, & Harry who I posted a photo of on the 3rd of this month is their banner at the top of the page. I am well chuffed 'cos there are so many lovely bears posted in that group.
Then on Bear Pile I have gained a follower & my Etsy shop has a secret admirer!!!! Oh & when checking my Blogger page views it would appear I have followers not only in the UK but the USA, Russia, Germany & Poland. So welcome all I hope you enjoy my little ramblings & the bears that I post.

Sunday 6 April 2014

Have done two craft shows over the last two saturdays & managed to have 4 bears adopted. All these were at half price, as I really do have to cut down on stock. Plus I am changing my style of bear. I am going for the primitive look, which will include the bunnies I posted earlier in March & bears along the lines of Aggie & the Musketeers, also posted back in March. I will still do traditional, realistic & others if people want them commissioned.

Denis, Chester & Barney, three of the four that have been recently adopted, unfortunately I do not have a picture of Sheridan, the fourth one, but he was a little 6" bear made from the same synthetic fur as Chester & Barney
